While oceanographic research in the submarine area east of the volcanic complex of Santorini with E/V Exploration Vessel 'Nautilus' is underway, for two days now via web we were able to see a series of amazing submarine images while scientists collected samples, and observed the sea bottom.

The live video/audio broadcast of the whole research, the modern robotic equipment, the dialogues among the on-board scientists, the 4 on-line cameras, the excellent image quality make this project on www.nautiluslive.org a live documentary, we can watch un-edited.

Noted that the project around Santorini island will be completed on August 12th and that in October (3rd-8th) Nissyros will follow. Enjoy!
