Nominations for the awards European Hotel Design have been announced.

The short list of candidates includes the:
- The Scarlet Hotel in in Cornwall and
- Grace Hotel in Santorini
in the best new build category.
Also:
- Palazzina Grassi in Venice
- Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, have been nominated for the best bedrooms and bathrooms and
- Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers in Copenhagen
- Bowood in Wiltshireare up for the sustainability award.

The winners will be announced at the Lancaster London on November 23 and are part of The Sleep Event, the only event of its kind in Europe, attracting hotel owners, operators, designers, architects and investors from across the globe.

Taking place from November 24-25 at London’s Business Design Centre, more than 100 suppliers will show their latest products for the hotels market, from beds and bathroom products to entertainment systems, wallcoverings, lighting and artwork.
