For years during the August Full Moon night, archaeological sites in Greece seems to remain open to the public. Sometimes combining this action with events on the premises, sometimes just leaving it free to the public to wander around them, this initiative has as objective the promotion of cultural heritage and modern Greek culture.
This year on 24 August from 19.00 until 01.00, we will be glad the full moon at 90 sites with free admission. 36 of them will host musical events.
As part of this effort, which over the years tends to become an institution, the Museum of Prehistoric Thera will open its gates to the public.
Íoted that the entire effort is implementing with the help of volunteer guards and range of artists, where they are involved.
