The Petros M. Nomikos Conference Centre was inaugurated in 1989, with the 3rd International Archeological Congress entitled 'Thera and the Aegean World', organized by The Thera Foundation. It is a neoclassical building, restored for its specific use.
Located in thecapital of Santorini, Fira, and overlooking the Caldera and the volcano, the Conference Center is at a wonderful location.
The Thera Conference Center is dedicated to realizing and promoting social, cultural and scientific events to support the island of Santorini and the excavations of Akrotiri
The Conference Center is divided in many conference halls, of a capacity up to 220 people. The room plans can be decided upon with the client (theatre style, conference style or classroom style).
Many conferences are held each year. The busiest dates are from April to October.
Companies and/or private groups can rent the Center at any time. It also serves the Thera Foundation and the Idryma Theras for conducting their own conferences.

Capacity:
- Meeting Hall 178,40 sq. m., capacity of 220 individuals, with exquisite acoustics and air conditioning. This hall has anti-dazzle windows that provide plenty of light.

- Covered outdoor space for coffee-breaks, discussions, receptions and social events of (capacity of 200 people)

- "School" style: 98 places

Additional Services
The supply of coffee, refreshments, and dinners inthe conference center are possible, as well as the organization of receptions, cocktail etc from an independent professional Caterer with which we tightly collaborate. All these are offered with the personal care and the genuine Greek hospitality
